Coaching is not medical care

Emma Reeve Nutrition provides nutrition coaching for healthy adults. It is education and support, not medical treatment, and it does not replace advice from your GP, consultant, registered dietitian or pharmacist. Nothing on this website is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

About the blood testing

Tests are provided through a third-party UKAS-accredited laboratory partner and are used to guide nutrition and training decisions. They are screening and monitoring tools, not diagnostic ones. A result inside a reference range does not rule out illness, and a result outside one does not confirm it.

If a result suggests something that warrants medical review, I will tell you and ask you to take it to your GP. Please do so promptly. If you feel acutely unwell at any point, contact NHS 111 or your GP, and in an emergency, call 999.

About the supplements

Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of the reach of children.

Speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting any supplement if you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding; taking prescribed medication (supplements can interact with anticoagulants, thyroid medication and others); or managing a diagnosed condition. Iron should only be taken on the back of a blood result showing you need it, taking it unnecessarily can be harmful.

If you compete under anti-doping rules, check every product against your governing body's requirements before use. No supplement can be guaranteed free of contamination risk unless it is batch-tested under a recognised programme.

When to speak to a doctor first

Please seek medical advice before starting coaching if you are pregnant or postpartum, have a history of disordered eating, have a diagnosed cardiac, kidney, liver, endocrine or gastrointestinal condition, or are under the care of a specialist for anything affected by diet.

Your data

Your results belong to you. The laboratory holds your sample and data as controller under UK GDPR. I only see your results because you choose to share them with me for coaching, and I do not pass them to anyone else.

Results

Individual results vary. Nothing on this site is a promise of a specific outcome in body composition, performance or health.
